JAKARTA (IndoTelko) - PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) generated revenue and EBITDA amounting to Rp 2.432 trillion and Rp 1,998 trillion respectively, for the nine months ended 30 September 2014.
This represents a 24.4% increase in revenue and a 24.8% increase in EBITDA versus the comparable nine month period of 2013. Using the third quarter 2014 results on an annualized basis, total revenue reached Rp3,402 billion, or 26.4% higher than the 2013 full year revenue. Annualized EBITDA based on the third quarter reached Rp2,795 billion, or 26.7% higher than 2013 full year EBITDA.
Total debt as of 30 September 2014, valuing USD loans at their hedged exchange rate, was Rp13,508 billion and gross senior debt was Rp9,648 billion while cash balances were Rp584 billion, resulting in net debt of Rp12,924 billion and net senior debt of Rp9,064 billion.
Using the 3rd quarter 2014 annualized EBITDA, the net senior debt to EBITDA ratio is 3.24x, and net debt to EBITDA ratio is 4.63x. TBIG retains ample room for further financing based on the covenants under both the debt programme and the USD and Rupiah bonds.
As of 30 September 2014, TBIG had 18,802 tenants and 11,686 telecommunication sites. The Company’s telecommunication sites comprised 10,623 telecommunication towers, 967 shelter-only sites, and 96 DAS networks. With total tower tenants amounting to 17,739 on tower sites, the Company’s tenancy ratio is 1.67.
“In the first nine months of this year, we completed 1,774 organic build-to-suit telecommunication sites, which is close to what we added for the full year of 2013. In this quarter, we also signed a share exchange agreement with PT Telkom for shares in PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi, which will further strengthen our relationship with Telkom.”, said Hardi Wijaya Liong, CEO of TBIG.(es)
