BANDUNG (IndoTelko) — TNT Indonesia aiming to increase the utilization of electronic service for customers when delivering packages, documents, and other goods by the company.

“In line with the rapid growth of the internet service provider market in Indonesia, it is predicted in 2015 there would be about 25 billion devices connected with internet in the form of gadgets and other devices, including desktop computers.  Knowing this, we will continue to encourage customers to take advantage the benefits of utilizing the electronic service application,” said Tomy Sofhian, Managing Director of TNT Indonesia.

Tomy Sofhian added, "Along with the significant growth of internet usage in Indonesia, we also have noted an increase in the usage of electronic-based services such as ordering and information searching about goods delivery (tracking). Currently, the majority of customers TNT already utilizing the services of our online services, my.tnt.com, but it's just expected that all customers TNT will use online services. However, we will not stop here and will continue to encourage the utilization of electronic service that make TNT Indonesia as a leader in innovation services to customers.

“Through the sequence of roadshows, including the one held in Bandung, we want to encourage and re-remind our customers to use the mytnt.com application because it will help to ease booking, tracking, and managing shipments,” added Tomy Sofhian.

Bandung is the most dynamic city in Indonesia. The economic growth of Bandung and surroundings in the last five years ranged around 8% per year and always higher than the national economic growth which ranged around 6% per year. The economic growth is also followed by the growth of courier service business, which is continuously increasing by every year.

For TNT Indonesia, Bandung and the surrounding areas contributed the most to the company’s business growth in Indonesia.
Last year, for Bandung and the surrounding areas, TNT Indonesia succeeded to record the growth above of all similar industries.

This number is predicted to continuously increase in line with the potential of logistic service business in Bandung and the area surrounding it, especially for goods courier service to other countries (export).
