JAKARTA (IndoTelko) – PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) released its interim financial statements for the three months period ended 31 March 2013.

TBIG generated revenue and EBITDA amounting to Rp 618 billion and Rp 507 billion for the  first quarter 2013. This represents a 100% increase in revenue and a 107% increase in EBITDA versus the comparable three month period of 2012.

Using the first quarter 2013 results on an annualized basis, total revenue reached Rp2,471 billion, or 44% higher than the 2012 full year revenue. Annualized EBITDA based on the first quarter reached Rp2,027 billion, or 45% higher than 2012 full year EBITDA.

Gross senior debt as of 31 March 2013 was Rp8,328 billion while cash balances were Rp539 billion, resulting in net senior debt of Rp7,788 billion. Using the first quarter 2013 annualized EBITDA, the net senior debt to EBITDA ratio is 3.8x. This net senior debt to EBITDA ratio is well below the relevant covenant of 4.5x under the Company’s debt programme.

As of 31 March 2013, TBIG had 14,319 tenants and 8,810 telecommunication sites. The Company’s telecommunication sites comprised 7,426 telecommunication towers, 1,040 shelter-only sites, and 344 DAS networks. With total tower tenants amounting to 12,935 on tower sites, the Company’s tenancy ratio is 1.74.
