Indosat Loss Rp 2,78 Trillion in 2013

JAKARTA (IndoTelko)  - PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT)  posted a net loss to be attributable to the parent entity of Rp 2,78 trillion or dropped significantly by 841,7%  from net income recorded by December 2013 amounted Rp 375,1 billion.

A loss on the exchange rate of the rupiah against the U.S. dollar  amounted Rp 2,79 trillion in December 2013 make Indosat profit turn to loss.

The company revenue  in 2013 increase by 6,4% to Rp23,85 trillion from Rp 22,42 trillion in the same period of 2012. Unfortunately the increase in revenue the company eroded by rising expenditure in the period 2013 amounted Rp 22,34 trillion, up 16,2%  from Rp19,23 trillion in 2012 . Operating profit of the company was also eroded to Rp 1,51 trillion, down 52,7% in December 2013 , amounted Rp 3,19 trillion.

The company 's total debt recorded in the books by December 2013 edged up 8,8%  to Rp 23,93 trillion from Rp 21,99 trillion as of December 2012. Indosat had a customer as many as 59,6 billion number in December 2013, up 1,9% from 58.5 billion in December 2012.(es)
