Tower Bersama Revenue Increase 26,5%

JAKARTA (IndoTelko) - PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) released its interim financial statements for the three months period ended 31 March 2014.

TBIG generated revenue and EBITDA amounting to Rp 781 billion and Rp 641 billion, respectively, for the three months ended 31 March 2014.

This represents a 26.5% increase in revenue and a 26.6% increase in EBITDA versus the comparable three month period of 2013. Using the first quarter 2014 results on an annualized basis, total revenue reached Rp3,125 billion, or 16% higher than the 2013 full year revenue. Annualized EBITDA based on the first quarter reached Rp2,566 billion, or 16% higher than 2013 full year EBITDA.

Total debt as of 31 March 2014, valuing USD loans at their hedged exchange rate, was Rp12,057 billion and gross senior debt was Rp8,199 billion while cash balances were Rp668 billion, resulting in net debt of Rp11,389 billion and net senior debt of Rp7,531 billion.

Using the first quarter 2014 annualized EBITDA, the net senior debt to EBITDA ratio is 2.93x, and net debt to EBITDA ratio is 4.44x. TBIG retains ample room for further financing based on the covenants under both the debt programme and the USD and Rupiah bonds.

As of 31 March 2014, TBIG had 17,222 tenants and 10,572 telecommunication sites. The Company’s telecommunication sites comprised 9,382 telecommunication towers, 1,040 shelter-only sites, and 150 DAS networks. With total tower tenants amounting to 16,032 on tower sites, the Company’s tenancy ratio is 1.71.
