JAKARTA (IndoTelko) – Tsukaeru, a leading cloud computing solutions provider in Japan and an Odin partner, announced that it has expanded its service offerings to Indonesia through a technology cooperation with local cloud service provider Cloudmatika (PT Awan Solusi Informatika).
The collaboration leverages Tsukaeru’s 16-year experience in cloud computing while maintaining full local ownership of Cloudmatika, ensuring compliance with Indonesian cloud governance standards and policies. Together, both companies offer the benefits of high-performance and high-quality cloud services at competitive prices.
As a result, Cloudmatika is the only cloud provider in Indonesia that promises near 100 percent availability service-level agreement (SLA), 24/7 support, fully automated autoscale and geo-distant disaster recovery. All of Cloudmatika’s services are hosted and managed in Indonesia.
This collaboration marks Tsukaeru’s first foray into Southeast Asia. The company chose Indonesia as the first country in the dynamic region to expand into due to its strong growth prospects – according to the 2015 Odin SMB Cloud Insights study, the Indonesian SMB cloud service market is estimated to hit Rp15 trillion (US$1.2 billion USD) this year.
Tsukaeru intends to set its sights on expansion to Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam in due course. The company already has a presence in Australia as a strategic stakeholder of OzHosting.com.
Ted Hilbert, CEO of Cloudmatika, is excited to broaden the breadth of solutions cloud service providers in Indonesia can offer as a result of the collaboration with Tsukaeru. For instance, he sees service automation as a key growth area for the company.
“The majority of service providers in Indonesia still run on manual processes, and we believe Odin’s service automation solutions will be an important competitive advantage to helping them achieve increased business growth and get to market faster. Odin Service Automation allows us to provide all of our services as white label to our partners to sell under their own brand, while maintaining their full customer ownership” he said.
Hilbert also credited the ease of use of Odin’s solution in speeding up Cloudmatika’s own go-to-market strategy. In less than a month, Cloudmatika got its infrastructure up and running, a competitive advantage that made up for the time spent on navigating Indonesia’s complex business environment as they set up shop.
Pavel Ershov, Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific & Japan, Odin, said, “Southeast Asia is home to some of the most dynamic markets in Asia, and is set to be the next up-and-coming hotbed of innovation. A reliable and trusted cloud infrastructure is of paramount importance to the growth of these markets, and we’re extremely optimistic about Cloudmatika’s ability to deliver high-quality and cost-effective cloud services to businesses in the region.”(es)
