JAKARTA (IndoTelko) – PT NEC Indonesia (NEC Indonesia) announced that Ichiro Kurihara has been appointed as the new President Director.
Kurihara has close to 25 years of experience in NEC, having worked extensively in the sales and operations of Asia Pacific markets. Since he started out in the Asia Sales Division, he has had experience working in several Southeast Asian markets, as well as the Bangladesh and Sri Lanka markets.
In addition, from 2003 to 2009, Mr Kurihara was based in Thailand where he was responsible mainly for the sales and development of NEC’s Telecom Carrier business. He was Senior Manager for NEC’s Global Business Unit for the Southeast Market in Greater China and the Asia Pacific Division and concurrently Chief Representative for the NEC Dhaka Branch Office in Bangladesh, prior to moving to Indonesia.

Kurihara replaced Takayuki Kano, who has led NEC Indonesia since 2013. Kano has been appointed President of NEC Corporation (Thailand).(es)
