Ribbon Protect Wins Stratus Award

WESTFORD (IndoTelko) - Ribbon Communications Inc. (Ribbon) announced that its Ribbon Protect platform has been awarded the "Cloud Security Service" award in the 2018 Stratus Awards. The awards seek to identify the companies, products and people that are offering unique solutions that take advantage of cloud technologies.

Ribbon Protect is a cloud-based solution that empowers service providers and enterprises to respond to real-time communications (RTC) cyber-attacks, fraud and network quality incidents quickly, intelligently and efficiently.

Ribbon Protect easily integrates with existing RTC network infrastructure and provides a new level of security leveraging Big Data and machine learning technologies.  The platform dynamically models network and user behavior enabling it to identify and mitigate anomalous activity indicative of a variety of RTC attacks.
